Pizza Girl - 4 Year Character Design Evolution

This is one of my classic characters, but unfortunately when I originally designed her I didn't really know the importance of practical character design. It doesn't help that I was a dumb 17 year old who (as far as anyone knew) was a cishet teenage male with cishet teenage male tastes, so that influenced it too! To be honest, Pizza Girl isn't even a very original idea. I mean there are lots of pizza delivery girl characters right??

I'm still attached to this character and continually looking for ways to improve her, but I thought I'd come up with a retrospective on her design. I think comics like Paranatural attracted me towards choosing a new lighter coloring style that I think is much easier on the eyes. Ashley's shirt has been made more tasteful, her chest is now much less distracting, and she's now sporting black fingerless gloves, as well as new shoes and a new eye shape.

Why is there the 'Pac-Man' motif? It's really just supposed to represent a pizza missing a slice and is supposed to add some flair to her design, but I do love Pac-Man so hey it's a bonus. Additionally, originally the comic was in black and white and I incorporated 'old-timey cartoon' aesthetics to it (hence the white gloves) but that doesn't really work anymore... but arguably I substituted one old cartoon aesthetic with another one (the eye shape).
